Confidence. Are we born with it or is it something we have to nurture in ourselves? Is it a feeling of self worth, a feeling of your own ability to succeed in something, even if you experience setbacks along the way? Why are some people so confident and others lacking in it?

Maybe this manifests in an avoidance of challenges, a lack of self assertion, low motivation to succeed or constantly talking to yourself in a critical way.
